Spring 2026 Rec Baseball Registration

Welcome to the 2026 Spring Rec Baseball Registration Page!

Age Requirements

For Long Valley Baseball, the rec level is determined by the grade of the player, with the exception of the younger T-Ball players and some of the travel players. 

  • T-Ball Level: Older Pre-K and Kindergarten-aged kids (Must be 4 by August 31, 2022)
  • Rookie Level: 1st and 2nd graders (7 - 8 year olds)
  • Minors Level: 3rd and 4th graders (9 - 10 year olds)
  • Majors Level: 5th and 6th graders (11 - 12 year olds)
  • Babe Ruth Levels: 7th to 9th graders (13 - 14 year olds)

Below is a resource that will help determine if the player would be eligible to play.

Rec Schedule

Practices

We expect the practices to start at the beginning of April, contingent on town approval to take the fields. 

T-Ball and Rookies Practices

  • Normally held at Cucinella fields.
  • Any weeknight - chosen by the head coach of the team.

Minors Practices

  • Normally held at Palmer Park.
  • Tuesday or Thursday nights - chosen by the head coach of the team.

Majors Practices

  • Normally held at Palmer Park.
  • Monday, Wednesday or Friday nights - chosen by the head coach of the team.

Babe Ruth

  • Normally held at Palmer park or Rock Spring Park.
  • Any weeknight - chosen by the head coach of the team.

Games

Rec games generally occur on Saturdays, starting in mid April to mid June and can have some night games added in. 

Playoffs

Minors and Majors playoffs plan to start week of June 1st.
